Telematics is the technology to provide regular and continual status reports on a wide variety of field based assets, whether it be the flow rate and performance of a remote pumping station, or monitoring for sudden drops in fluid levels or rises in temperature.

It reduces the requirement for routine human checks to be made on equipment – instead freeing staff to handle non-routine and emergency requirements.

Telematics works by have a sender unit attached to your asset which feeds data at regular and definable intervals to your control staff. It can be used to signal the alert immediately if a change of state occurs or simply to feed usage information back which is then recorded, logged and charted.

Telematics is simple and cost effective to install. As it uses data services on a mobile phone – running costs are very low. Rugged and hardwearing and available as either battery, mains or solar powered the units have a vast array of uses.

The sending of the data is the first part of the process. Advance IT’s software expertise has allowed us to provide a simple to use and secure web based interface that has minimal set-up costs. It can be viewed by authorised and security cleared users anywhere that they have an internet connection – including internet enabled mobile phones. This allows field engineers real time access to the data being reported.
