STEP 1: Engineer's Mobile Software
- Field worker uses the E.T.A. (Expected Time of Arrival) software on
his/her mobile phone or PDA to send arrival notification text
message or voice message to the house occupier or tenant.
STEP 2: Call Occupier
- The house occupier receives notification information in the message
such as engineers name, estimated time of arrival and a unique
password (to give security to the elderly and vulnerable). This increases
access rates and the likelihood of someone being in when the
engineer tries to gain access.
STEP 3: Collects latest phone numbers
- The engineer can confirm the occupier’s phone number using the E.T.A. application on his/her mobile device. The updated phone number is automatically sent to your property or housing database.
- The E.T.A. system has been developed to also be used to send job data direct to the engineer on his/her mobile device e.g. job history, allocation and job scheduling.
